Another interesting article in the digital music world… could piracy actually be “helping” musicians while “hurting” the labels? It’s plausible, but it’s definitely not proven. There are a lot of factors that play into ticket sales vs. album sales.

I’m so THRILLED that I took my Snocap store off of Myspace as soon as my music was posted on iTunes. It really sucks that struggling artists, once again, are getting screwed by big companies that requested these artists to use their service. It benefitted the company, and a TON of independent artists promoted that company. Apparently, that doesn’t mean anything to imeem or Myspace....
